How it works

Some suppliers only accept bank transfers. With Crezco, you can still pay them using your card.

We charge your card and send the payment to your supplier as a bank transfer. Your supplier receives the money exactly as they would with a normal bank payment.

  1. Ensure your organisation is verified to get access to make payments with your card (read more here)

  2. Create a pay run and select to pay it with a new card or one that you’ve previously paid with

  3. Approve the card payment

  4. We charge your card for the payment amount

  5. We send the funds to your supplier via bank transfer

  6. Your supplier gets paid the next working day while you benefit from your card’s rewards or billing cycle

Payment timing

Card payments are processed the next working day, typically around 2pm.

The payment is authorised immediately when you confirm it, but the bank transfer to your supplier is sent on the following working day.

Security and 3D Secure authentication

All card payments are authorised using 3D Secure (3DS).

When you approve a payment, your bank may ask you to confirm the transaction using their authentication method, such as a one-time code, banking app approval, or biometric verification.

This additional step helps ensure the payment is authorised by the legitimate cardholder and provides extra protection.

Supplier experience

Your supplier receives a standard bank transfer.

The payment will appear with your company’s legal name as the sender, and they will not see that the payment was made using a card.

Pricing

Card payments incur a 2.9% fee of the payment amount (with a minimum fee of £2.50)

The fee is always shown clearly before you confirm the payment
