Pay by Card

With Xero Online Payments, you can now pay domestic bills using your Visa or Mastercard!
The first time you pay by card, you'll be asked to verify your business details (name, address, industry, owner) as part of adding the card to your account. This is a one-off step, done directly within Xero, and can take a few business days to complete. Follow this step-by-step guide to adding a card to your Xero Online Payments account to get started.
Once your card is set up, you can use it to pay bills going forward. This Xero help centre article on processing a domestic payment walks you through the steps.
When you pay by card, your payment is authorised immediately, but the bank transfer itself reaches your supplier the next working day, typically by 2pm.
