How to create a payment link for a fixed currency amount that is different to your local currency

Step-by-step process on how to create a payment link for a fixed amount in a currency that is different to the currency you have in your bank account

1. Click on the 'Accounts Receivables' section on the left hand side of the page and then select the 'Payment Links' tab at the top of the page

2. Click the 'Create Payment Link' button in the top right corner of your screen.

3. Choose the type of payment link you wish to create, in this case, 'Single'.

4. Choose which bank account you wish to receive the money into. Please ensure that International payments have been enabled for the bank account you select.

5. Select the currency in which you would like to receive the funds

6. Enter the amount in selected currency and the reference. The toggles are set to fixed by default, giving you control of what they are, but if you'd like the payer to choose then you can slide the toggles to the left.

  • Please note that if the customer is manually funding this invoice as they are in a country that currently doesn't have open banking infrastructure, the reference of what they enter and what we need them to provide when initiating the payment may differ slightly

7. Click 'Next Step' and choose which link type you wish to create

  • Single use: Once the payer has submitted the invoice, the link cannot be used again

  • Multiple use: This payment link can be used by multiple different people and never expires
    • Please note that you will need to reach out to us in order to enable this feature on your account.

8. Finally, click on the 'Create payment link' button.

9.  All done! Once you have created the payment link you will see a summary of the information embedded within it. You can now share/copy the link and or QR code to receive payment.
